Starbucks New Plan

A day after shutting down most of its U.S. shops for three hours to retrain baristas on espresso basics, Starbucks is welcoming customers back Wednesday with a new promise posted in stores: "Your drink should be perfect, every time. If not, let us know and we'll make it right."

Starbucks Chairman and Chief Executive Howard Schultz said the 135,000 baristas who got the refresher course pledged to uphold "the uncompromising standards and quality that have made Starbucks the world's coffee leader."

Current Events ( Asian Stocks Fall )

Asian stocks fell Friday, taking their cue from Wall Street after weak economic data revived concerns the world's biggest economy is headed for, or already in, recession.

The Shanghai Composite led the sell off with a more than 4 percent decline as supply concerns weighed. The lock-up period for certain institutional shareholders who own shares from initial public offerings are due to expire soon and investors expect a flood of shares to hit the market.

Current Event!

Everyone knows that Microsoft is tying to take over yahoo. They offered them 45 billion and Yahoo responded no saying that they were worth more than that. Not only is that a problem, but some argue that Microsoft will become an monopoly with this takeover. Microsoft still is planning the takeover. That do you think will happen?
